Medical Diagnosis and Assessment Procedure:

The treatment process begins with a complete medical history and examination with an extensive laboratory work-up. If detoxification or medical stabilization is necessary, and beyond the capacity of Rocky Mountain Treatment Center, the patient is admitted to an affiliate hospital which is under an agreement to provide services. If psychiatricSmith Creek hospitalization is required, the patient is transferred to an approved medical center. The Medical Director of Rocky Mountain has privileges at the local hospital. During the medical evaluation component, appropriateness for treatment is further assessed.

Intake, Interviews, Screening and Diagnosis:

As part of the intake process, a social history, family interview, individual interview, and a series of diagnostics are completed. Psychological testing, a psychological consultation and cognitive screening are part of this process.
