Director: Scott Boyles, LAC
Scott brings over 25 years of experience in outpatient and inpatient treatment programs as a supervisor and clinician. He has also been a trainer and consultant for many programs across the nation. He has had his own counseling and consulting practice since 1994 and has served as a Chemical Dependency Program Site Reviewer for the State of Montana. He also served as a case reviewer for BC/BS, CARF Surveyor and Program Administrative Officer for the Addictive and Mental Disorders Division of Montana. In addition to his Director’s duties, Scott supervises the Clinical Staff and Treatment Assistants for RMTC. Scott provides a high level of expertise in the field of addiction treatment and is constantly seeking to expand our therapy program as a part of his commitment to providing the best care possible to our clients.
Family Program: Mary Huntington, MSW
Mary Huntington has been a part of Rocky Mountain Treatment Center since it began 26 years ago. Mary received her Master's Degree from the University of Minnesota and was quickly introduced to the addictions treatment field in a personal fashion. Mary held several prestigious positions in the field, including Assistant Executive Director and Director of the Marty Mann Halfway House for Women. Mary accepted an appointment at Rocky Mountain Treatment Center in Great Falls, Montana in 1983 for the express purpose of helping to establish the Center. After filling a variety of positions at Rocky Mountain Treatment Center, Mary now heads up our Family Program, providing vast expertise in the healing process for families and loved ones of the client. Mary also does out-patient counseling with former and prospective clients.
Diagnostic Testing: Monty Kuka, PhD.
Monty Kuka, Ph.D. conducts the diagnostic testing of the clients at Rocky Mountain Treatment Center. Dr. Kuka graduated from the University of California – Berkeley in 1986 with his doctorate in Clinical Psychology and from Notre Dame with his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Dr. Kuka interprets the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) for all the clients at Rocky Mountain. Dr. Kuka’s work is integral to formulating a complete diagnosis for each individual, and he works closely with the Clinical Staff in planning the individualized care plan for each client.
Medical Director: Dr. Brice Addison, M.D.
Dr. Addison is a graduate of the Mayo School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Addictionology. Dr. Addison is well known throughout the Great Falls area as he has a large private practice and serves on the Board of Directors for various organizations. Dr. Addison supervises the medical treatment of our clients and strongly believes in the concept of treating the whole patient. Dr. Addison holds admitting privileges at Benefis Medical Center, which is a multi-specialty acute care hospital in Great Falls, and he is on call for any medical problems with our clients 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Rocky Mountain Treatment Center provides 24-hour licensed nursing care for our clients, which includes monitoring the health and well being of our clients as well as seeing them through the detox process as needed.
